SC LO Global ESG Equities Fund’s objective is to create a portfolio with better environmental, social and governance scores, with strong underlying financial characteristics. It uses an active, bottom-up stock selection approach, based on the investment manager’s proprietary responsible investment and quantitative investment strategy.
The Fund’s investment objective is to apply a responsible investment strategy and outperform the Dow Jones Islamic Market World Developed Total Return Index (Bloomberg ticker code: DJIDEVT) (the ‘benchmark’) over the long term.
In accordance with Shariah investment guidelines and investment restrictions, the Fund invests directly in the equity of companies in the Dow Jones Islamic Market World Developed Index which are domiciled in, economically tied to, or listed on global stock exchanges.
