SC STIC KOREA Opportunities Fund’s objective is to realize significant, long-term returns through privately-negotiated, Shariah-compliant equity and equity-related investments in technology-based middlemarket companies based in Korea or Greater China.
The Fund is a Shariah-compliant closed-ended Fund offered in Saudi Arabia as a private placement Fund in accordance with the Capital Market Authority’s rules and regulations. It was established as a feeder Fund to invest in STIC Shariah Private Equity Fund III L.P., a Cayman Islands exempted limited partnership (the ‘master Fund’).
The master Fund’s objective is to realize significant, long-term returns through privately negotiated, Shariah-compliant equity and equity-related investments in technology-based middle-market companies based in and with significant operations in Korea or Greater China (collectively, the ‘core markets’) or in companies based in, or operating outside of the core markets, that otherwise have a strong nexus with South Korea.
